Everyone says that Ziggy Marley just isn't much of a talker, no apologies.

That Ziggy Marley has talent is unquestionable. And what makes him so intriguing, is his unassuming and "matter of fact" approach to the things he does best -- writing, producing and singing. Though he may not realize it his successes come as a result of this 'earthiness' (something difficult to maintain with international exposure Grammy Awards and rubbing shoulders with some of the world's greatest performers).

Ziggy gets his inspiration from the ordinary Jamaican on the streets. Like the rest of his brothers and sisters, he has no intention of losing touch.

For Ziggy, it will be yet another busy year as, combined with his work as a musician, he now wears the hat of Youth Goodwill Ambassador for the protection of the environment. Locally, he has become involved in a number of clean-up projects and is now planning a special campaign for schools.

He's a devoted family man, who spends quality time with his children. In fact, Ziggy notes, creative inspiration most often springs from the close Marley family ties, a tradition he carries on with his immediate family.
