The formidable female trio, The Marley Girls, is poised to turn the world on its ear with their debut single "Unbelievable". The Marley Girls are composed of two members of the Melody Makers, sibling songbirds Sharon and Cedella, in addition to Erica Stewart, also an integral part of the grammy winning Melody Makers sound. Hence the name The Marley Girls.

The Marley Girls claimed the lead vocals on "Today" from the Melody Makers' album, Free Like We Want 2 B. The divas wasted no time in following up with a single of their own, "Unbelievable", which will be featured on the soon to be released all female compilation album from Rita Marley Music, Natty Queen Divas. The delightfully daring dance track is sure to make a huge impact internationally and firmly establish The Marley Girls as a vocal force to be reckoned with.

Their paths originally crossed while attending the same high school, but it was not until 1986 that the three united in harmony as the backing vocals for Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers. It all began when Sharon took time off to begin a family and an additional voice was required to temporarily fill-in. Sharon and Cedella auditioned several singers, but were not very impressed until Erica, whom they remembered from school, unleashed her vocal talents to their obvious approval.

Erica has been singing since she was 13 years old. Her first vocal opportunity came as part of 'Father Holung and Friends', a church volunteer group that traveled throughout the Caribbean performing in aid of the less privileged. When not singing with the Melody Makers, Erica can be found in the studio as a harmony vocalist for a number of reggae performers. She has worked closely with Marcia Griffiths and Rita Marley, and has toured the Caribbean, Japan and North America with Judy Mowatt. Erica manages to balance her degree studies with her singing, and like the other ladies in The Marley Girls, her role as a wife and mother.

When Sharon returned to the Melody Makers after her break, the three discovered that their voices combined to create an undeniably pleasing symmetry of sound, so they decided to make it a threesome.
